Read before visit
- Bring a valid, government issued photo ID with you when you visit for notary services.
- Be sure to bring all of the documents that need to be notarized with you, not just the signature page.
- Do not sign or date the document (all documents must be signed and dated in the presence of a Notary)
Every signer must demonstrate a willingness to sign the documents without coercion. He/she must also be aware of what they are signing and understand the significance of the transaction. Documents cannot be notarized if there is any cognitive impairment.
